Description

This robot allows flexible adjustment of the hedging strategy using various parameters. The connection between them ensures the strategy can be fine-tuned for current market conditions. Properly managing parameters like gapPercent, tpPercent, and rbDynamicFactor will help us use the strategy effectively and achieve the best results.

Main Parameters

coins (runtime):

  • Description: The list of cryptocurrencies that the robot will trade.
  • Default Value: ADA, APE, APT, ARB, ATOM, DYDX, DYM, EOS, GALA, GMT, JASMY, LINK, MATIC
  • Explanation: This parameter defines which coins the robot will focus on. It works with other parameters like symbols to select the specific assets for trading.

rbDynamicFactor:

  • Description: This factor adjusts the size of the trade orders dynamically.
  • Default Value: 1.5
  • Explanation: A higher value increases the size of the trades based on market conditions. It influences the overall risk and can be balanced with parameters like basketProfit.

basketProfit:

  • Description: The target profit percentage for the basket of assets.
  • Default Value: 1
  • Explanation: It sets the profit level at which the robot will close the trades. It works with tpPercent and gapPercent to define when the robot should hedge and secure profits.

hedgeReOpenGap:

  • Description: The percentage at which the hedge will reopen.
  • Default Value: 0.5
  • Explanation: When the price changes by this percentage, the robot will reopen the hedge. This helps manage risks and reduce losses when the market moves against the initial position.

gapPercent:

  • Description: The percentage change needed to open a hedge.
  • Default Value: 2
  • Explanation: This sets the threshold for when to open a hedge position. A higher value means hedges will open less often, reducing the risk of loss in a sideways market. It works with hedgeReOpenGap to control the conditions for entering a hedge.

tpPercent:

  • Description: The profit percentage at which the hedge position will close.
  • Default Value: 1
  • Explanation: Used with basketProfit and gapPercent to decide when to close a hedge. Adjusting this parameter can help achieve better profits while managing risk.

sellFactor:

  • Description: Controls how much of the hedge position is sold.
  • Default Value: 0.7
  • Explanation: A higher factor means a more conservative sell-off, which may lower profit but reduce risk. This parameter helps manage how aggressively the robot hedges its positions.

symbols (tester):

  • Description: The set of trading pairs for testing the strategy.
  • Default Value: BCH/USDT, BTC/USDT, ADA/USDT, ETH/USDT, XRP/USDT, TRX/USDT, SOL/USDT, LTC/USDT, BNB/USDT, DOGE/USDT
  • Explanation: This is used in the test mode to check how the strategy performs on specific trading pairs. It works together with the coins parameter to select assets for optimization and testing.

Additional Parameters

  • rbSizeFactor: Adjusts the trade size. Works with rbDynamicFactor to fine-tune the trade volumes.
  • rbPercent: Sets the percentage for trade size. It interacts with rbSizeFactor and rbDynamicFactor to control the overall risk of the strategy.
